An interesting quote…

“Still, even now there are many people who believe that Adam and Noah are historical, not mythical, characters. But then, some people continue to believe that the world is flat, in spite of Aristotle, space ships, and astronauts.”

–L. Sprague de Camp and Catherine Crook de Camp (in their book Darwin and his Great Discovery)

I’m not going to beg you and plead with you to believe in Creation RIGHT THIS INSTANT OR YOU WILL DIE. No. That’s just rude. But I will invite you to study. Research. Challenge the facts and ask unprecedented questions. I dare you.  You may be surprised by what the evidence points to.

  1. Excellent point Tabitha! My view is that the more important/central/influential a set of beliefs are to you, the more you have a duty to yourself and those ideas to engage with them critically. How much better to believe something having questioned it and looked at it from multiple angles πŸ™‚

    • That’s true. Faith may be believing in something we can’t see–but it doesn’t mean you’re blind. Researching creation vs. evolution has just convinced me more firmly. I find it hard to believe that I am descended from an ape 😊
