Yep. Almost there. We’re halfway through NaNoWriMo. So far I’ve handwritten about 86 pages (using a composition notebook and a number 2 pencil–is there any other way?!). I’ve also written a short essay for a contest I’m entering (more on that later), which is about 700 words. That’s one typed page. I am very proud of myself. 😀
How’s your NaNoWriMo going? Leave me a comment ranting about your writer’s block or bragging about your superior writing skills. Hey, it’s not too late to hop on board! We’re only halfway through the month. Flex your writing muscles and start scribbling. Get those creative juices flowing. Who knows, maybe you won’t limit your writing-every-day to November. Maybe that could be a resolution (to write a little something every day). A November’s resolution? Why not?
Or maybe writing ain’t your thing. My dad is doing No-Shave November. He started a little late. It’s not noticeable. Yet. Hey, mix it up. How about Bake a Pie Every Week November?
You’re right. That doesn’t sound like as much fun as writing.
